Impact Television Network locks in The Lonnie Hunter Variety Show
The Lonnie Hunter Variety Show is set to air on the Impact Television Network starting June 2019 on Saturdays from 9PM – 10AM EST. The Impact Television Network offers a wide range of programming for its audience of over 80 million households.
Lonnie Hunter, host of The Lonnie Hunter Variety Show, is the perfect person to bring a new and innovative viewing experience to the faith-based community. Upcoming episodes will include not only top gospel artists but actors, barber competitions, games, comedians and an array of surprises.
Included in this one-hour variety show Hunter will introduce to his new television audience, his prize-winning game segments Clues & Categories as well as his Talent Show that has become a staple within his radio broadcast.
For years Hunter was the host of the #1 Gospel Radio Show in Chicago, ruling the morning drive time; Mon-Fri for nine years on WGCI/ Inspiration 1390. At the same time, he served as Dean of Students for one of the largest school districts in the suburbs of Chicago. After moving to the East Coast, The Lonnie Hunter Show was a part of the Radio-One Network, now syndicated on the Reach Gospel Radio Network.
Most recently, this award-winning gospel artist and radio host joined forces with co-executive producer Greg “Uncle G” Lyons of Uncle G Promotions & Entertainment. Only months after shooting their pilot the two inked a deal to bring this groundbreaking show to the Impact Television Network.
