Charles Jenkins Pens His First Book

Grammy® Award winning songwriter and gospel artist Charles Jenkins, just completed his first book “Seasons” teaching the principles of how to grow and succeed during times of transition.  “I’m so excited to help so many people work through life’s many SEASONS” Jenkins said. He plans to share his concepts for success in helping people who are transitioning from one position to the next within churches, businesses and other organizations. The foreword written by Devon Franklin is an introduction to the principles for those who are also in marriages, parenting or seeking new ventures. Seasons will be available February 2021.

CeCe Winans is a Grandmother

CeCe Winans became a first-time grandmother on Christmas Day. Her daughter Ashley Rose recently gave birth to a son Wyatt Thomas Phillips. Mother and child are both said to be doing well. Wyatt Thomas will undoubtedly one day learn of the amazing anointing his grandmother shares with the world. Another first for CeCe will be happening on Sunday, February 21, 2021. An Evening of Thanksgiving with CeCe Winans her first livestream concert is expected to be a night of healing, music and special guests.

CeCe has partnered with Christian child development organization Compassion International to offer attendees access to a special VIP event that will take place prior to the main event. The VIP event is scheduled for 5:30 PM CST and will be immediately followed up by An Evening of Thanksgiving with CeCe Winans at 7:00 PM CST. Tickets can be purchased online at compassionlive.com.

Netflix’s Voices of Fire and Pharrell Williams Partner with RCA Inspiration to Release Debut Album

The Voices of Fire are a newly formed choir and the subject of a Netflix faith-based docuseries that follows the search for its ecclectic, talented singers. The Voices are led by Bishop Ezekiel Williams, the uncle of Pharrell Williams. Pharrell who is a Grammy® Award winning record producer and artist has partnered his company I am OTHER with RCA Inspiration to introduce the new music from the Voices of Fire. The Voices of Fire will record a full-length debut album that will be released at a future date.

Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Husband Kenneth Award Five Small Businesses $1000 in Giveaway

Gospel artist Tasha Cobbs Leonard and her husband music producer Kenneth recently announced the winners of their “Leonard’s Holiday Giveaway”. The giveaway was created to assist small businesses in fulfilling their purpose. Five small business entrepreneurs were awarded with $1000 each. The five winners who were selected from hundreds of applicants include: Ima’s Heart for a Neighbor, Hempossible Industries, YoBrez Frozen Dessert Bar, Studeaux Fifteen and The Entrerpreneur.

Tasha who was recently named Billboard’s Top Artist of the Decade is also an entrepreneur. She is the co-owner of the eyewear company Fritz Eyewear Collection that was named after her late father Bishop Fritz Cobbs. Following the giveaway, Leonard and her husband urged consumers to make the effort to support the winners and small businesses in general during this difficult season.

Destiny Child’s Michelle Williams Mourns the Loss of Father Dennis Williams

Singer Michelle Williams recently announced the passing of her beloved father Dennis Williams. Dennis Williams was 68 years old with a history of health challenges stemming from a stroke 15 years ago that was coupled with him also being a diabetic. This prompted Michelle to become an ambassador for the American Heart Association’s “Power to End Stroke Campaign.” Following his passing on December 20, 2020, Michelle wrote “The Lord took you in his arms this morning and I’m so thankful that you are resting in Him!!” Williams who has opened up about her personal and ongoing struggles with depression and anxiety will be releasing her memoir May 2021 “Checking In: How Getting Real About Depression Saved My Life—and Can Save Yours”.  Williams who is a staunch mental health advocate hopes to encourage everyone through her own experiences to understand the importance of “checking in” with themselves, God, and others.
