Isaac Carree Releases First Album in Six Years: “No Risk… No Reward”
Isaac Carree comes out with new album “No Risk… No Reward,” his first in six years following Reset, which debuted on the Billboard Gospel Chart as No. 1 in 2013. Carree, for those who don’t know, is a soloist who launched his career with John P. Kee & the New Life Community Choir twenty-five years ago. He is just coming off the Bad Boy Reunion Tour with Diddy as a vocalist, and is partnering with Shanachie Records, who Isaac is excited “believes” in his vision. His lead single, entitled HER, is dedicated to his wife of fifteen years, Dietra.
Brian Courtney Wilson Announces New Tour
In Wilson’s first North American tour, entitled the JUST B(E) Tour, he will be visiting 11 cities across the country, starting in Atlanta, GA on the 23rd, through North and South Carolina, Alexandria, VA, New Orleans, a couple cities in Texas as well as Chicago. The tour will feature music from his vast career, including his two critically acclaimed albums A GREAT WORK which earned him three GRAMMY Nominations, and WORTH FIGHTING FOR, two works that charted on Billboard’s Gospel Chart and went through communities throughout the country.
Tye Tribbett Hosts Hosts Praise Night, To Be Broadcast on TBN
Tye Tribbett, award-winning gospel composer and choir leader hosted a praise night with a large attendance, featuring Jekalyn Carr and Todd Dulaney. On Jekalyn Carr’s Instagram page, more details are offered. The three, as well as many other people working behind the scenes, are partnering with TBN to bring people “consistent quality praise and worship” to be televised. We may look forward to more in the future. The show will be featured tonight.
David Mann Celebrates His Birthday
In a video on Instagram, David Mann gets to the grill, but not to make barbecue… he throws some pizza on and the family celebrates. David and Tamela Mann have been a staying force in the gospel industry, and he’s now celebrating his fifty-third birthday. The comedian and actor has starred in a number of Tyler Perry productions, perhaps most notably I Can Do Bad All By Myself. This is the latest update on their lives, following Tamela’s performance at the 25th annual Essence Fest. Mrs. Mann also asks for prayers as she recovers from a double knee replacement, getting the surgery done less than two weeks ago.
